Q-Tech respects your personal data and ensures that the personal information provided to us or otherwise obtained, is treated confidentially. Personal data is all information about a person. Data that indirectly says something about someone is also personal data. The following implements the information obligation laid down in the GDPR for the data subject(s) whose personal data Q-Tech processes.

Liable for information processing and communication

Q-Tech processes personal data to be able to offer services, to improve services and to be able to communicate personally with you as a person concerned. Q-Tech often engages a third party for the evaluation of our services. As a person in concern, you make the choice yourself to participate in this and to leave personal data behind.

Purpose of processing personal data

Q-Tech processes the personal data mentioned below exclusively for the purposes mentioned below:

  • legal obligation
  • performance of an agreement
  • obtained permission from the person(s) concerned
  • legitimate interest

Which personal data is processed?

Q-Tech processes the following (types or categories) of personal data for the purpose of providing services or provided by the person concerned on his own initiative:

  • Company name and address
  • Phone numbers
  • Email addresses
  • Gender, date of birth and/or age

Q-Tech processes the aforementioned personal data because they have been provided by you as a person concerned on your own initiative, have been obtained in the context of the service provision, have been made known to us by third parties, including counterparties, or have become known through public sources.

Basis for processing personal data

Q-Tech processes the above-mentioned personal data exclusively on the basis of the following grounds as referred to in Article 6 of the GDPR:

  • legal obligation
  • performance of an agreement
  • obtained permission from the person(s) concerned
  • legitimate interest

The personal data can be requested by letter.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Q-Tech only shares your personal data with third parties to the extent necessary for the provision of services with due observance of the aforementioned purposes. This includes carrying out an investigation or having an investigation carried out, engaging another third party on behalf of Q-Tech, such as an IT supplier, but also providing your personal data in connection with (legal) proceedings. Or correspondence with the other party. In addition, Q-Tech can provide personal data to a third party, such as a supervisor or another body with public authority, as far as there is a legal obligation to do so. With the third party that processes your personal data on behalf of Q-Tech, a processing agreement has been concluded whereby that third party is also obliged to comply with the GDPR. Third parties engaged by Q-Tech, who offer services as controllers, are themselves responsible for compliance with the GDPR for the (further) processing of your personal data. This includes accountants, support services from partners such as health and safety services, website hosts, cloud or software, clients, other third parties engaged for a second opinion or experts.

Security of personal data

Q-Tech attaches great importance to the security and protection of your personal data and, taking into account the state of the art, ensures appropriate technical and organizational measures to guarantee a security level appropriate to the risk. In the event that Q-Tech uses services from third parties, such as an IT supplier, Q-Tech will lay down agreements on adequate security measures in the context of the protection of personal data in a processing agreement.

Retention period personal data

Q-Tech does not store personal data that is processed for longer than it is necessary for the aforementioned purposes of data processing or is required by law and regulation.

Privacy rights of person(s) concerned

You can send a request for access, correction, limitation, opposition, data transferability, deletion of your personal data or withdrawal of previously given permission via the contact details below. You will receive further notice from us within four weeks of receipt of your request. Circumstances may arise in which Q-Tech cannot or cannot fully implement your request as a person concerced. This includes the confidentiality obligation of lawyers and statutory retention periods.

In order to be sure that we provide the relevant personal data to the correct person on the basis of your request, we ask you to submit a copy of a valid passport, drivers license or identity document with a protected passport photo and BSN number for verification. Q-Tech will only process requests that relate to your own personal data.

Use social media

The Q-Tech website(s) includes buttons and/or links to promote or share web pages on social (media) networks or websites of third parties, such as Twitter, Linkedin or Facebook. Q-Tech does not monitor and is not responsible for the processing of your personal data by and through such third parties. The use of that media is therefore at your own risk. Before using those services of third parties, it is advisable to first read the privacy statement of those third parties.

Statistics and cookies

Q-Tech keeps track of usage data of the website(s) for statistical purposes. The personal data collected in this way are in principle anonymous and are not sold by Q-Tech to third parties.

In order to increase the ease of use of the Q-Tech website(s), so-called 'cookies' are used. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer, tablet or smartphone during your visit to the Q-Tech website(s). You can refuse the use of these cookies at any time, although this may limit the functionality and ease of use of the website(s).
